Armillary spheres were used in the 18th century to depict the principal circles of the planets and stars. This distinctive floor lamp places a stylized sphere atop an open metal frame. Frame is in a coffee bronze finish and has brown marble accents. A square-sided golden taupe shade is on top. With a 3-way socket that makes it easy to set the lighting level. Design by Carolyn Kinder. Coffee bronze finish. Brown marble accents. Golden taupe shade. Takes one 150 watt 3-way bulb (not included). 69" high. 19 1/2" wide shade.
